Thursday Tip: Side Body

Most of us know that we need a full body workout. But do we really spend as much time as we should on the side body? Be honest. Ask yourself. This simple move, Mermaid, from the Pilates Mat repertoire, is a fantastic addition to any workout. It stretches the obliques, the QL, and more on one side all while working the same muscles on the opposite side. Add a flexband as shown here to add resistance and a lengthening challenge.
